Having my kids in private school was very important to me because I wanted to make sure they had a smaller class size in hopes they would have more one on one attention. If thats what you're looking for then DON'T send your child to this school. Each class has way too many kids per teacher. Public schools even limit the amount of kids per class so why doesn't a private school? they continually increase tuition and have nothing to show for it. There are no music classes or anything of that nature. Don't get me started on the sad sports program they have. I would not recommend this school if anything mentioned above is important to you.

Savio can be $$$ but it's worth it...teachers are competent and encourage parent/teacher relationship. I am very happy with my investment for my three children.

The parent involvement is top notch at this school. The teachers are great and strive to teach to high academic standards. They go above and beyond. Ms. Guerrero is an excellent teacher and the school should be proud to have someone of her caliber. She gives her time and patience to each of her 40+ students. wow. Sister Barbara was a strong leader however she no longer is the principal. Overall excellent school.

I have two of my sons at Savio and the education that they are receiving is wonderful not only education wise but safe wise also.

It's a Catholic school, so kids are going to be sheltered there, and raised with expectations and higher standards for personal behavior. All by itself, that's going to draw fire from some parents. It's a great school, I went there, and I moved back to downey to send my kids there.

I think it is a great school academically but kids also need the social skills that needed when they go into high school and this school lacks in that aspect, which means they are sheltered.

Academically, Savio is an excellent learning institution for children. The teachers are outstanding the principle has an agenda for the school and has a vision for the children's future. I love the fact that the principle, Sister Barbara, is strict about certain little things that you might think are petty. But, when taken out of the environment you realize why Sister Barbara is strict with uniforms from head to toes. I mean from how the children take pride on the way they comb their hair to the type of shoes they wear. The children are also taught to be given, to help the community, and not to take for granted life. It's all done for the children to established pride and good humanitarian habits. Overall, this is the best gift that us parents can give my children.
