I love our school because our students aren't just 'students' - they're family. Our administration/faculty/staff/coaches/Salesians are the most caring, compassionate group of people that truly make our school more special than the rest! Our students are well-rounded individuals who have very bright futures ahead of them!

I am graduating in 2010 from Bosco. It's pratically like my home, away from home. These 4 years in Bosco were the best years of my life. Especially Miss Tracy's 2nd period of sophomore year. i'll miss it ! go Braves !

The principal, director, president, teachers, and all the adult leaders are genuinely enthusiastic about what they do and how they go about it. Their positive energy is contagious and we (my son, wife, and family) are excited to be a part of the SJB family. I've always felt that the cream will rise to the top whether you go to a public or private school, but this is a great environment for the cream to rise. My wife and I have both bachelor's and master's degrees from USC. While growing up, my wife attended private Catholic schools and I attended public schools. As you can see, she won the argument when it came to our son going to high school :-) Another thing you can see is that the students (present and past) are very proud of the school. This stems from the students feeling that they got an opportunity to do their best.

I attended Bosco 200o-2004 and all I could say is nothing but great things. Bosco prepared me not only for life but it helped me to believe in myself and strive for the best. I am currently a 4th year at Cal Poly Pomona, and on the verge to attend graduate school. IF it wasn't for the great teachers, great environment, I wouldn't be where I am at today. I still keep in contact with my professors as well as administrators. Great experience!

I have to admit, my son is enrolled for Sept 2007, so I have no academic experience with the school yet. However, the level of faculty involvement with my son thus far has been incredible. The Open House convinced me my son would do well there, and so far I am thrilled that he was accepted. The emphasis on college prep is phenomenal in today's dropout environment, and I am looking forward to being a happy parent with a well-rounded son in four years.

I attended from 1995 to 1999. My brother attended 2001-2005. I have to say the overall quality of education at SJBHS was outstanding during my time and my brothers time there. All teachers are not only professional in the specific areas they teach but they show concern and attention to each and every student. I believe SJBHS prepared me for life by providing discipline, integrity, and a excellent curriculum for continuing to college and my carreer. I would undoubtedly have my son go there for high school

Great school with great teachers. I found this school to have an inclusive environment that fostered the growth of boys to men. Many of the teachers are former students: they are taking less pay to teach at an institution that means a lot to them. This says a lot to me.

Bosco was a blessing for me. My son was not doing so well in Public school, but thrived when enrolled in Bosco. The competition to succeed was all that he needed. He needed a push. When he saw that other young men were concerned about their grades and wanted to do better, he fell in with the crowd. The quality of academic programs are adequate to prepare for college. Programs and extracurricular activities are in abundance. There is something for everyone. If you are not athletic, there are other clubs and activities to be involved in. Parent involvment is high.

We went to the open house on Saturday and were very impressed. Students led the tour and were articulate and friendly. I liked the push for academics as well as the individual development each student. Great facilities and many choices for after school activities.

Bosco is a great school that instills pride and compassion. The school is competitive both academically and athletically. The school also provides an alumni network that can assist your career.
